Chickpea

Chickpea belongs to the fabaceae family. It is the third most sown and produced plant in Turkey among edible fabaceae following beans and lentils.

Chickpea is very rich in terms of proteins, minerals and vitamins. It reduces cholesterol due to the diet fiber it contains, and it balances blood sugar.
